What is high arch (pes cavus)?
Pes cavus (high arch) means the foot has an excessively elevated arch, reducing contact area and concentrating pressure at the heel and ball of foot. This rigid foot absorbs shock poorly, increasing risk of stress fractures and fatigue.
How ArcCush™ helps
ArcCush™ fills the elevated arch cavity to maximize ground contact, redistributing plantar pressure away from overloaded heel and forefoot zones across a larger surface area for better shock absorption.
Are high arches worse than flat feet?
Both cause biomechanical problems. High-arched feet are rigid and shock-absorbing poorly; flat feet are hypermobile and overpronate. ArcCush™ addresses the specific needs of pes cavus.
Why do my ankles roll outward?
Pes cavus is associated with supination tendency, where the foot rolls onto its outer edge. ArcCush™ fills the arch and stabilizes rearfoot loading.
Will cushioning alone fix the problem?
Cushioning addresses the shock absorption deficit. ArcCush™ also provides arch fill and lateral stability to address the full spectrum of pes cavus biomechanics.
